George Garland is a tennis pro, coach, and director of Go! Tennis Camp, and Go! Tennis programs for children and adults. As a national teaching clinician for the United States Tennis Association, he worked with such future champions as Pete Sampras and Michael Chang. He has been a fixture in the Queens tennis community for more than 25 years. George�s deep knowledge of the game and his passion for teaching players of all levels is what makes Go! Tennis Camp unique. Instruction is offered both to young beginners and experienced, tournament-playing, scholarship-seeking players.�

The Camp "where everybody knows your name? offers: pre-school/nursery/kindergarten, 4-5; junior, 6-7; senior, 8-10; tween, 11-14. The age-appropriate programs include Red Cross swim instruction, music and drama, video games, outdoor play and exercise, basketball, soccer, softball, lacrosse, gymnastics, field trips, Jewish culture program, organized games and activities, story time, and weekly cookout. Early Bird Specials before 3/18/12. Fee includes transportation, hot kosher lunch/afternoon snack, trip admission fees, T-shirt, and group picture. Partial season program available.
Oasis Day Camp

Kara is thrilled to be returning to Oasis at Bayside this summer. This will be her ninth summer with Oasis. During the year, Kara spends her time encouraging children to strive for the best as a teacher with the New York City Department of Education. Kara loves to tap into her creativity and is always looking for new ideas and new things to try. Kara is proud of the diversity the Oasis in Bayside program offers.

Ask Ms. Marrone, founder and educational director of Quantum Leap Kids� Learning Center what her goal is for her students at her English Language Arts school, and she responds with: �We are bringing children into the realization that they are the next generation of readers, writers, speakers, and thinkers destined to influence our world, well into the 21st century and beyond.� Ms. Marrone implements this goal with distinctive workshops beginning with phonemic awareness lessons for children ages 3-5, ELA intensive classes for first-seventh graders and the NYS ELA Exam Prep 10-Week Saturday course for third-sixth graders.�

Sensational Kids offers an exciting, fun-filled day for children 3-14. Campers join us for 2-8 weeks (weeks do not need to be consecutive), July 5 to August 27, 2010. Our experienced staff will be a memorable part of each child's summer. Children will have a fantastic time doing arts and crafts, enjoying sports, games, swimming and going on spectacular trips. Camp hours are 7am-6pm; program hours are 9am-4pm. Camp is non-sectarian. Early registration payment plans available.

SPORTIME Executive Multi-Sport Director, Joe Siegel, oversees all SPORTIME children?s summer camp programs. Joe holds a Master?s degree in physical education and has created a unique sports academy program that is implemented at all SPORTIME summer day camps. Children learn the fundamental skills of their favorite sports as well as game strategy and sportsmanship. Joe and his staff of motivated sports coaches, tennis and swim instructors and group counselors work together to create a truly memorable summer experience for all SPORTIME campers.
World Ice Arena

Camp Manager Lauren Hunt is a USFS gold medalist, coach of the 2009 US Synchro National Champions, and Director of WIA Skating School. The school has enrolled over 1,500 skaters since opening last February. Summer Camp at World Ice Arena is great for all skaters, helping beginners learn the basics at an accelerated pace and challenging serious figure skaters in a fun, intensive program with classes including jumps, spins, edges, choreography, off-ice conditioning, and ballet.
