They'll attempt to memorize 500 numbers, 99 names and faces, a 50-line unpublished poem (including punctuation), two decks of shuffled cards, and more. Last year's champion, Nelson Dellis, set two national records; he memorized 248 random numbers in five minutes and memorized a shuffled deck of cards in one minute and three seconds. See Dellis return to defend his crown against a field of intensely focused challengers. The winner will represent the U.S.A. in the World Games later in 2012 (location yet to be determined). Last year's World Games were held in Guangzhou, China. http://www.nymetroparents.com/2014neweventinfo.cfm?id=102575 Con Edison Grand Auditorium true DD/MM/YYYY
