This exhibit intends to inspire and foster conversations pertaining to the differences and parallels between art made by artists and art made by artists with mental disabilities. Visitors will see and appreciate each others qualities even if those go hidden behind us being distracted by out-of-the-norm behaviors caused by a disability. This exhibit features a selection of work that was created in an art therapy workshop at Family Residences and Essential Enterprises. The exhibit runs through January 6, 2013. http://www.nymetroparents.com/2014neweventinfo.cfm?id=118807 Long Island Children's Museum true DD/MM/YYYY
