Truck or Treat for City Harvest

This event has already taken place. Click here for the latest events.

Add to Calendar 17-09-2012 31-10-2012 15 Truck or Treat for City Harvest Truck or Treat is City Harvest's Halloween initiative that allows children to partake in the fight against hunger in New York City by collecting donations while trick-or-treating. Although it seems like children only just dusted off their backpacks to head back to school, Halloween is right around the corner. Each year, participating children take along collection boxes shaped like City Harvest trucks as they go trick or treating. Every 25 cents collected will enable City Harvest to rescue one pound of food for a hungry New Yorker, so every coin really does count. To learn more, go to cityharvest.org/truckortreat, or contact kgu@cityharvest.org to get your school or children's organization involved. http://www.nymetroparents.com/2014neweventinfo.cfm?id=119162 Throughout New York City true DD/MM/YYYY
