Add to Calendar 05-03-2013 05-03-2013 15 Parent Behavior Management Training Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is offering a 12-session evidence-based Parent Management Training (PMT) Group for parents of children with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders. The group will meet Tuesday mornings (March 5 through May 28) from 9:30-11:30am at WJCS, 141 North Central Avenue, Hartsdale. Developed by Dr. Alan Kazdin at YaleChildStudyCenter, PMT has been shown effective in decreasing oppositional, anti-social, and challenging behavior. Parents learn new ways to understand their child's behavior, and practice skills and techniques for effectively handling problem behavior.
