Add to Calendar 06-04-2013 06-04-2013 15 Green Songs from Vlada's Garden Songstress Vlada Tomova shares songs both ancient and new from the villages of her native Bulgaria and other lands, near and far. Tomova also loves growing sweet tomatoes, raspberries, basil, strawberries, and colorful beans in her in her current village of residence, Brooklyn. Figs, giant sunflowers, rosemary, peaches, and asparagus grow among many flowers and other plants in Vlada's Brooklyn community garden and she seems to possess a mysterious power for bringing cut Valentine roses back into bloom. Learn how to plant peppers, spot the first leaves of spinach poking through the soil, and grow a strawberry at your bedside, through stories, pictures, and song. http://www.nymetroparents.com/2014neweventinfo.cfm?id=131955 David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center true DD/MM/YYYY
