Volunteers are invited to celebrate Earth Day weekend, and to help regrow the area straddling Queens and Brooklyn that was devastated during Hurricane Sandy. This is the first major street tree planting event since the storm. Volunteers will not only plant nearly 2,400 trees in the area from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. but will participate in tree planting training, beautification projects and family-friendly entertainment with: Z-100’s Greg T from Elvis Duran and the Z100 Morning Show, 103.5 KTU’s Paul “Cubby” Bryant and Power105.1's DJ Whutevva. http://www.nymetroparents.com/2014neweventinfo.cfm?id=135092 Highland Park true DD/MM/YYYY
