Add to Calendar 23-06-2013 23-06-2013 15 Supermoon Wolf Walk Celebrate the June full moon, "Supermoon," with the Wolf Conservation Center's moon-loving wolves. June's full moon will be the largest, and closest moon encounter with Earth for all of 2013! While keeping cozy by the WCC's outdoor fire pit, guests will enjoy yummy snacks and likely the symphony of howls from the 23 wolves that call the WCC home. Guests will learn about the history of wolves in the United States, the importance of wolves in a healthy ecosystem, and the efforts to save these magnificent creatures for future generations. Guests then take will take a short moonlit walk to visit Ambassador wolves Atka, Alawa, Zephyr and the WCC's 8-week-old arctic wolf pup! Please bring flashlights. Pre-registration is required. Information and registration are available at nywolf.org.
