Add to Calendar 22-04-2013 31-05-2013 15 The StoryWalk Project at Gedney Park The 2013 StoryWalk will begin directly behind the playground located in the front of Gedney Park. Look for the "StoryWalk" sign. All are welcome to visit this free StoryWalk, which runs through Friday, May 31t. The featured book selection is "and then it's spring," by Julie Fogliano, illustrated by Erin E. Stead. The story perfectly captures those early days of winter-sneaking-into-spring, when we're eagerly searching for any signs of fresh color and new life. And then suddenly, spring is sprung! StoryWalk helps build children's interest in reading, while encouraging healthy outdoor activity for both adults and children. The StoryWalk Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT, and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition and the Kellogg Hubbard Library. The 2013 StoryWalk is brought to you by the New Castle Recreation & Parks Department and The Chappaqua Library. http://www.nymetroparents.com/2014neweventinfo.cfm?id=136751 Chappaqua Public Library true DD/MM/YYYY
