Why do the trees change color in the fall? Where do those colors come from? Chromatography is the means by which kids will discover the many colors in the leaves of the deciduous trees during the fall season. Young Discoverers will participate in a chromatography experiment designed to illustrate the color profile of deciduous leaves as well as explore the beautiful deciduous forest. Calling all scientists to put on their thinking caps and answer important environmental questions with fun and easy experiments. Come learn about the environment through scientific studies and tests. Snack included. Much of the class will take place outdoors, rain or shine, please dress appropriately. Space is limited.
