This exhibition presents painting, sculpture, photography, and video that explore a multi-dimensional preoccupation with the pivotal role that bees play in pollination, environmental health, and our changing relationship to nature. Venue Description: See natural beauty at its finest at Wave Hill, the 28-acre public garden and cultural center in the Bronx. Overlooking the Hudson River and Palisades, Wave Hill's true view lies in the park's magnificent gardens and landscapes. Horticulture and the arts programs for children, teenagers, and teachers are hosted by Wave Hill. Its grounds serve as living laboratories for science exploration. A memorable and scenic venue location, the Wave Hill House, built in 1843, is available for meetings, conferences, celebrations, and photo shoots. Wave Hill House was home to many celebrated icons, including Theodore Roosevelt and Mark Twain.
On weekends from 10am-1pm, the whole family can enjoy with a naturally creative Family Art Project. Wave Hill's visual arts program presents artworks in the galleries and on the grounds that engage the public in a dialogue with nature, culture, and site.
