Cooking demos and hands-on programming for all ages in the James Beard Future Foodies Pavillion include kids cooking classes with Cricket Azima and other chefs, plus food samplings and product demonstrations. Live music and other entertainers on the KFF Performance Stage include Kimmy Schwimmy and Reed Alexander. The Balanced Plate Scavenger Hunt invites kids to bounce around the festival, from kiosk to kiosk, earning stickers and a goody bag while learning how to make healthy, balanced food choices. In addition, festival-goers can enter a raffle and burn off some energy with free-admission ice skating at Citi Pond at Bryant Park before or following festival activities.
