Add to Calendar 14-03-2012 14-03-2012 15 Writing Workshop: Ryan Sias's Story Labratory Today begins a four-session workshop that will stimulate creative thinking, problem solving, and introduce kids to concepts of structure, character, setting, and other basics of storytelling and cartooning. The workshop will kick off with a reading of Sias's book "Zoe and Robot: Let's Pretend!", followed by a discussion about character and story development. Then, collectively, the children will create a silly character with Ryan's help. Each child will write and illustrate his/her own simple story. Through this workshop, participants will come to understand the power of expression by being able to communicate with art and bring joy from drawing funny things and making others laugh. In order to ensure that each child gets enough individual time with Sias, registration is limited and seats are on a first come, first served basis. http://www.nymetroparents.com/2015neweventinfo.cfm?id=104248 Books of Wonder true DD/MM/YYYY
