February 25th is Urban Arts R&R inspired by the beautiful Gallery work of Gabriel Specter. Make your Shabbat afternoon special and share in the community. Workshops, art, yoga, meditation, food, music, study sessions, film, creative art projects, spa experiences, indoor and outdoor play! There are programs for both children and adults. Guaranteed fun for the whole family! All are welcome. There will be a screening of Community Cinema: On the Waterfront, a dance demo and workshop by Urban Arts from the legendary Rock Steady Crew, an adult arts class led by Brooklyn graffiti icon KAVES focused on creating your own NYC street style, a workshop in City Improv for Families with Rebeca Diaz, an Urban Arts Panel Discussion: Is Graffiti/Street Art really Art or Just a Public Nuisance?, a performance by The Vocaholics: NYU All-Male A capella group, and much more.
