The exhibition features striking examples by great masters of the period, including Paris Bordone, Vittore Carpaccio, Lorenzo Lotto, Jacopo Tintoretto, Titian, and Paolo Veronese. Offering compelling insights into contemporary art, religion, and culture, Renaissance Venice addresses topics such as the portrait in Venetian art, Venice and the landscape tradition, religious and civic life, artistic innovations in printmaking and drawing, book publishing and cartography, and the role of foreign artists in the city.
