This theatrical experience for young audiences follows the struggles of a young girl through the indignities of prejudice to discover her strength of conviction, as a simple act of civil disobedience gives birth to the civil rights movement. The program is suitable for students ages 5 and up. Students of all ages and abilities will have the opportunity to make "I have a dream ..." buttons and add their self-portraits to the Circle of Friends mural as well as explore the Museum's galleries and exhibitions. http://www.nymetroparents.com/2015neweventinfo.cfm?id=124335 Bruce Museum Bruce Museum
