The City Congregation for Humanistic Judaism hosts Theatre of the Oppressed NYC in "The Park Bench Prophet: Beggar with a Cause." The story of a homeless prophet ignored by fellow New Yorkers is told through interactive theater, puppetry, and poems. Inspired by real-life struggles for human rights, the troupe, Concrete Justice, presents "forum theater" in which the audience becomes involved as "spectators," offering alternatives to the problems onstage.
