Add to Calendar 23-03-2013 23-03-2013 15 'Cinderella' Underlying this story about a pure-hearted girl who loses her mother is the concept of bullying. Cinderella is constantly ridiculed and bullied, just as many children are today. But in the world of theater and the Galli method of acting, this may not be such a horrible thing. The Galli Theater communicates important social issues through modern adaptations of fairy tales from around the world. ?The plays highlight their symbols and help to illuminate wisdom that is highly relevant in today's society. They awaken a sense of liveliness in audiences and actors alike that can help reveal the genuine person and his inner vision and power, thus celebrating childhood,? said Tatjana Maya, MD, Founder of Galli Theater New York. Galli achieves this mission through its main stage productions, educational programs and its Dr. Fairytale Program. After the Saturday show your kids can participate in a workshop filled with fun acting games and where they'll play animal and fairytale characters. Then they perform a little show for the parents. http://www.nymetroparents.com/2015neweventinfo.cfm?id=130595 Galli Theater true DD/MM/YYYY
