Holiday Express puts magnificent model trains, train stations and sheds, bridges and tunnels, carousels and Ferris wheels, all populated with toy figurines in colorful nineteenth-century dress, on display at the New-York Historical Society. But you can discover more than meets the eye. Spot the intricate details in these amazing model train scenes made by the M?rklin model train company. Can you spot the refreshment stand? The station clock? How many train cars are pulling into the train station? Bring the whole family, pick up your self-guided hunt, and see who can spot the most!
Families can use this "i spy" hunt to search for hidden details in the trains and train stations of the Jerni Collection. Some sample "i spy"s:
? How many coal cars can you count? ? How many different kinds of animals can you spot on the trains and in the stations? ? Find a post office, a refreshment stand, a train clock, and a water tower at this train station.
Families using the hunt will be able to explore all the trains on display and take as long or as short as they like.
