Add to Calendar 14-03-2013 14-03-2013 15 Cantor Josee Wolff-Seder Survial Guide The Mothers Circle, a series of free programs for women of other religious backgrounds raising Jewish children within the context of intermarriage, introduces a special one-time class. Participants learn how to host a Passover seder, even if they never grew up attending one, learn more about Passover, so feel more comfortable participating in the holiday and explaining it to their children. This unique prep class is a free, fun, and interactive session that will also prepare (grand-) parents who are new to Judaism to celebrate Passover in a meaning¬ful way with their families. Through hands-on activities and stimulating discussion, participants will explore the “how-tos” and purpose behind the various Passover rituals; examine some of the elements of the Passover seder; and learn the “dos and don’ts” of Passover food! Participants will also discover ways to answer their children’s questions and discuss some of the intricacies of participating in—or even hosting!—a Jewish holiday celebration when you yourself are not Jewish. http://www.nymetroparents.com/2015neweventinfo.cfm?id=132218 Temple Sholom true DD/MM/YYYY
