Add to Calendar 26-05-2013 26-05-2013 15 Sketching Safari The WCC is thrilled to present wildlife and conservation artist Alison Nicholls for a unique workshop and an adventure in creativity. Enjoy the morning capturing the splendor of wolves on paper. This is the WCC's first Art Safari. Alison will start by briefly discussing her Conservation Sketching Expeditions and how she uses her art to support conservation projects like the Painted Dog Conservation project in Zimbabwe and the African People & Wildlife Fund in Tanzania. She will explain some of the special challenges faced when sketching wildlife in the field, and will talk about how to overcome these challenges, whether sketching wolves in Yellowstone or elephants in Africa. Then, with Alison's guidance, try your own hand at sketching WCC's ambassador wolves. Guests will also have a chance to behold the WCC's critically endangered red wolves and Mexican gray wolves. Pre-registration is required. Information and registration are available at nywolf.org. http://www.nymetroparents.com/2015neweventinfo.cfm?id=134129 Wolf Conservation Center true DD/MM/YYYY
