Add to Calendar 01-12-2013 01-12-2013 15 Songs of the Sea Join Sean and Deirdre Murtha for an afternoon of sea chanteys and songs of the sea, evoking the everyday lives of sailors, whalers and fisherman from the days of sail. Chanteys, which were sailors' work songs, are infectiously rhythmic and have simple repeating choruses, perfect for singing along. Sean and Deirdre accompany themselves on authentic instruments of the time including banjo, mandolin, fiddle and bones. Presented by the Friends of Greenwich Point and Bruce Museum. For information, call Peter Linderoth at 203-413-6742 or email plinderoth@brucemuseum.org. http://www.nymetroparents.com/2015neweventinfo.cfm?id=150144 Innis Arden Cottage true DD/MM/YYYY
