Add to Calendar 26-01-2014 26-01-2014 15 A Walking Meditation at the KMA Guided by yoga instructor and meditation leader Sarah Knox, view the Katonah Museum of Art's current exhibition, "Eye to I...3,000 Years of Portraits," with mindful awareness to enrich your experience, allowing you to connect with and appreciate art in a new way. This meditation experience offers art viewers a non-intellectual approach to the aesthetic experience, focusing on reflection rather than discussion. Gentle movement to settle the body and a short seated meditation to quiet the mind will be followed by a walking meditation through the exhibit. There will be time for deeper contemplation of individual artworks. The session will finish with a short, seated meditation to integrate the experience. No previous meditation experience necessary. Space is limited; advance registration recommended. To register, call 914-232-9555, x0. http://www.nymetroparents.com/2015neweventinfo.cfm?id=153858 Katonah Museum of Art true DD/MM/YYYY
