Add to Calendar 14-02-2014 14-02-2014 15 They Called It Rock "They Called It Rock" is Legendary Music in Motion with songs from iconic artists including Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, The Eagles, David Bowie, Elton John and more! A magical pairing of dance and rock n' roll featuring eight gifted dancers in a unique fusion of jazz, latin ballroom, salsa, and contemporary dance, set against a blazing backdrop of high definition video imagery. "They Called It Rock" is a fantasy exploring the serious assertion that rock music - to the youth of repressed societies - had the powerful ability to cut through the ideological barbed wire of government policies, therein becoming a metaphor for freedom, a catalyst for change, and a road map of possibilities for how good life could be. http://www.nymetroparents.com/2015neweventinfo.cfm?id=154144 Tarrytown Music Hall true DD/MM/YYYY

Venue Description: With its striking fa├žade and stylish interior, the Tarrytown Music Hall is Westchester's oldest functioning theater. The Music Hall has served as both a host to a number of noted performers throughout its history, and as a landmark in the greater Westchester community. Currently, the theater seeks to use its space in a manner that brings the arts to children, hosting a variety of theater troupes throughout the year. The Music Hall has two resident companies, the Random Farms Kids' Theater and the Westchester Symphonic Winds that both allow children to participate in performing arts. For true theater-lovers, the Music Hall also offers a yearly membership that allows the purchase of pre-sale tickets. The Music Hall seats 843 people and can be rented for private functions.
