Tonight: "Video Game Design." Discussion at 7pm; Dance Party at 8pm for ages 18 and older, hosted by Chiptune enthusiast, DJ Cutman. Beer and wine will be available for purchase. In 2012 Paola Antonelli, senior curator of architecture and design at the Museum of Modern Art, announced MOMA's acquisition of 14 video games and "all hell broke loose." In her far-ranging, entertaining, and deeply insightful talk, she explains why she challenges traditional ideas about art in museums, and why design must be seen in all art forms - even video games.
