Add to Calendar 04-02-2012 04-02-2012 15 Hudson River EagleFest Attendees of EagleFest can enjoy an abundance of activities from guided and independent eagle viewing to storytelling, engaging children's programs and activities, bird walks, and displays from 30 local collaborators. Shows take place all day long in The Eagle Theatre and Eaglet Stage heated tents. Visit www.teatown.org for a schedule of shows and events. Bus tours for guests ages 12 and older are available at 9:30am or 2pm with a Teatown educator allow an in-depth view of eagles in their natural habitats. Tickets for bus tours are $25/person, and sell out frequently. Call 914-762-2912 x110 to make a reservation. Additionally, Riverfront Green Park in Peekskill will feature a storytelling presentation from Jonathan Kruk, a falconer with a live demonstration, and ice sculptures. The City of Peekskill is providing a free round-trip shuttle bus from Croton Point Park to Riverfront Green all day. Traveling by train? Ride the Eagle Train from Grand Central Station with special guest naturalist, Gabriel Willow. Guests can board the 9:52am train on Metro North's Hudson Line with stops at Croton Harmon and Peekskill. At Croton Harmon, attendees can board the free shuttle bus to Eagle Headquarters at Croton Point Park.
