Fast Feet NYC Launches Adaptive Summer Running Program

Fast Feet Track Club, an adaptive and inclusive track and field team in Manhattan, is launching its first community team this summer for children and young adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental differences. The summer track program offers a 10:1 ratio and provides an inclusive athletic team for runners of all abilities between 7 and 21 years old.

Your runner will improve his fitness, running mechanics, and body awareness while working in a small group setting with teammates and coaches.

Fast Track Club begins on July 11 and runs through August 28, highlighted by weekly practice sessions and family fun run events. Practices are on July 11, 16, 26, and August 1, 8, 15, and 22 in Riverside Park – West 72nd Street Track. They begin at 4:30pm on the track located on the corner of West 72nd Street and Riverside Drive.

Some fun runs Fast Track Club will participate in include NYRR’s Open Runs on August 11 at 9am in Astoria Park and August 28 at 7pm in Brooklyn Bridge Park.
