Hold on to your hats, kids, because there’s no telling what this contingent of big-nosed, suspenders-wearing zanies will do. This is the circus’ 10th year performing at the museum, and it promises to be an amusing and amazing spectacle of artistry that’s full of more than a few laughs.

Set at a Catskills resort in 1960, Breaking Up Is Hard To Do (playing at Theatre Three) is the comic story of Lois and Marge, two friends from Brooklyn in search of good times and romance over one wild Labor Day weekend. The score showcases 18 Neil Sedaka classics, including “Where the Boys Are,” “Laughter in the Rain,” “Stupid Cupid,” “Sweet Sixteen,” “Love Will Keep Us Together,” “Calendar Girl,” and, of course, the chart-topping title song.
