You’ve got the luck of the Irish if you can make it to all of these “green” events this March. Erin go Bragh!

The whole family will enjoy an all-out Irish St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at Old Bethpage Village, with live music, traditional Irish dancing, giveaways, and traditional Irish food and spirits. FREE!

March 16

Next, celebrate the holiday at St. Patrick’s Day Party with What’s Cooking?, where children will whip up (and eat!) a festive meal and create Irish-themed craft items. The menu includes grilled corned beef paninis, scones, Irish “smashed potatoes,” shamrock cookies, “luck of the Irish” ice cream, and leprechaun lemonade.

March 17

The Cupcake Corner welcomes kids every Saturday and Sunday to its Craft for Kids program, which features a different theme each week. On March 17, drop by to make a St. Paddy’s Day Craft. FREE!

March 17-18

It wouldn’t be St. Paddy’s Day without Darlene Graham and the Shades of Green Band. Graham and her group’s inimitable renditions of traditional Irish music are a big hit with kids (and their parents). They return to the Long Island Children’s Museum on the holiday weekend.
