Summer of Fun at Hudson River Park

Take the kids to the Summer of Fun 2015 at Hudson River Park, with outdoor movies, concerts, and activities for families all summer long, from May through September. Take in the waterfront view and fun, family-friendly entertainment at Hudson River Park.

Hudson River Park, one of the nation’s longest waterfront parks, will host a variety of free and low cost recreational and educational programming for New Yorkers, families and visitors this summer season as part of their “Summer of Fun” series. The festivities will begin in May and run through September. Popular annual events will be back this year, including the Blues BBQ Festival, the Hudson RiverRocks concerts, the Hudson RiverFlicks movie series, Big City Fishing, the Healthy on the Hudson fitness series and much more.  The new Hudson River Dance Festival is an exciting addition to the event calendar as is the new Hudson RiverKids family event series featuring New York City’s favorite family entertainers!

“Our favorite time of year is kicking off the summer season with entertainment, events and education programs which will draw a diverse audience from adjacent communities and across the entire city, for all to enjoy,” said Madelyn Wils, CEO and President of Hudson River Park. “Summer is one of the busiest and best seasons for us. Come spend some time outdoors by the water while enjoying one of the City’s beautiful landmarks with so much history. We encourage you to join us this season as you plan your leisure activities with family, friends and neighbors.”
