LI Parents Day 2017: An Afternoon of Fun for Kids, Info for Parents

June 26, 2017   |   Local News - Suffolk County, Long Island

Come for an afternoon of kid-focused fun—while parents learn important information about local businesses and professionals. It’ll all happen at LI Parents Day, which will be held 11am-3pm on Sunday, September 17, at Long Island University’s Pratt Recreation Center (720 Northern Blvd. in Brookville).

Kids will love LI Parent Day’s classes and activities, while mom and dad meet local family businesses who can help make the school year ahead exciting and successful for your kids—and you. Exhibitors will include birthday party venues, after-school classes, special needs providers, health and wellness professionals, local museums, and day trip locations. All in all, LI Parents Day will feature more than 50 exhibitors!

At last year’s event, kids’ activities included face painting, a life reptile session, a movement class, and plenty of snacks, among many other classes and events. Check back regularly to find out more about what’s in store at the 2017 LI Parents Day.

Tickets to LI Parents Day are $10 per family, which includes two adults and as many as four children; they are available online at LIParentsDay.com. Every family who attends the event will receive a free goodie bag with free samples and other items courtesy of NYMetroParents and event exhibitors.
