Bring out the crayons! ArtsCetera, the Cobble Hill arts studio, is holding a Crayon-A-Thon over the Valentine’s Day weekend, February 13-15, to raise money for its new ABC program, ArtsCetera Beginnings for Children. The program offers music and arts to underprivileged Brooklyn kids. The fundraiser will be a model for encouraging recycling, as the crayons used will be melted down and recycled into new crayons. Twenty-five one-hour coloring time slots, including lots of family-friendly hours, are available. Pre-registration recommended, but tickets are available at the door. Suggested donation: $20 single, $45 family, $75 per person for a semi-private coloring hour. An open house kicks off from 4-7pm on Friday, February 13, featuring refreshments, music and more.
