Little Girl Uses Brains and Personality to Stand Up to School Bully

This four-year-old is told by a classmate that she’s ugly. What she says in response shows that brains and personality are the most beautiful qualities a kid can possess. See how she combats bullying in the video below.

Too often, parents hear horrible tales of their children being bullied in school.

“A little boy said I look ugly,” a young girl tells her mom in this week’s viral video. While many parents might feel helpless, the mom of this spunky four-year-old decided to ask her daughter about the bullying, and capture her response on tape.

Instead of letting the bully’s harmful words get her down, the young girl bravely answered back, “I didn’t come here to make fashion statement. I came here to learn, not look pretty.”

We think this kid’s response to bullying is thoughtful, intelligent, brave, and beautiful, and should be shared with parents and children everywhere to empower kids to use their brains and personality to combat the bullying epidemic.
