Weekly Cooking Class - Taste Buds Kitchen

Cook up a new and delicious culinary adventure each week in this signature weekly class. Recipes vary from savory to sweet and the class focuses on ingredients, tastes, techniques, and making new friends. This class is a great way to introduce new ingredients and flavors to your child. You'll be amazed at what your budding chef makes and eats. Class size is limited to 10 students. Starting with our youngest chefs at age 2 on up to our advanced teens classes, we have a weekly class for everyone.

School's Out/Art's In - Katonah Museum of Art

A recurring art program for children ages 3-12 held on school vacation days in the Museum's Learning Center. Each day a teaching artist leads different art projects inspired by the current exhibition, "Ice Age" to the Digital Age: The 3D Animation Art of Blue Sky Studios. Children will enjoy creating flip books, found object creatures, cut paper animation, digital stop motion, and cartoon drawing. Children and their adult caregivers can drop in any time between 10am-3pm.

Winter Break Camp - Tenafly Nature Center

The Tenafly Nature Center hosts this winter break mini-camp for students in pre-k through 5th grade. Children will explore woods and trails, make crafts, share stories, and play games while learning about the environment. Activities include searching for animal tracks, discovering the science of snow, eating s’mores around a campfire, and more. Half-day and full-day programs are available. Pre-registration required.

School's Out! Holiday Camp - Center for Science, Teaching and Learning

Visitor passes are required and must be reserved for a specific date and time. Visitor passes are free and available through the memorial's online reservation system. The 9/11 Memorial is a tribute of remembrance and honor to the nearly 3,000 people killed in the terror attacks of September 11, 2001.

A massive truck load of toys will be donated to the St Francis De Sales school. The school and the surrounding area was heavily affected by Hurricane Sandy. Dominick and other amazing musicians will perform a FREE concert for the children and anyone else in attendance. All of the toys and money raised will be donated to the people affected by this tragedy. Toys will be distributed to the children by Dominick Farinacci and Kevin Mileti following the concert. Dominick and his hometown of Cleveland want to help victims of Sandy by bringing toys to them on the holidays. In the past two weeks since the launch of this campaign Dominick has involved over 35 musicians for performances to raise toys. Over 1200 toys have been donated and there will be many more to come throughout December!

Hurricane Sandy Benefit US/Japan Goodwill Concert - Carnegie Hall

On Wednesday, Dec. 26 at 8pm youth from around the world will descend on Carnegie Hall to perform a one time show as a benefit for the Hurricane Sandy victims. They come from Japan, Germany, Australia, Canada, and the United States. Tickets are free and donations collected will go to Tunnel To Towers. Featured performances include No Borders Youth Chorus with special guests OC Times and Vocal Spectrum, All Japan High School Wind Orchestra, and Toriyama Musical Singers.
