The characters evolve on a stage evoking a giant turtle, the symbol of origin for many ancient civilizations. Inspired by many founding myths, this show illustrates, through a visual and acrobatic language, the evolutionary progress of species. The word "totem" contains the idea of the order of species. We carry in our bodies the potential of all species, all the way to our desire to fly - like the thunderbird at the top of the totem pole. Somewhere between science and legend TOTEM explores the ties that bind Man to other species, his dreams and his infinite potential.

Ringing Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Presents 'Built to Amaze!' - Barclays Center

The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus presents 'Built To Amaze!' This show takes the audience through the stages of creating an actual circus. Andre McClain, ringmaster and "America's favorite cowboy," takes the Ringling Bros. reins and leads the show, accompanied by his horse Comanche. More than 110 of the world's best performers representing 17 countries along with 95 exotic and domestic animals will be assembled, creating never-before-seen, heart-pounding performances. Ringling Bros. is thrilled to introduce nine-time international award-winning comedic animal presenting duo Alex and Irina Emelin of Russia. Also new to Ringling Bros. is the Tower Tumblers, a troupe of competitive aerial athletes from the Ukraine who launch themselves from trampolines to scale and pass through a three-story-high translucent tower. Plus, the legendary King Charles Troupe, hailing from New York City, will perform a spirited game of basketball atop unicycles.

Natural History - Brooklyn Botanic Garden

Artist Patrick Dougherty and a team of volunteers constructed a monumental woven-wood sculpture in honor of Brooklyn Botanic Garden's centennial. The result, large-scale sculptures made from sticks and saplings, is an organic structure that changes over time as the materials settle and decay.
