UPDATED JUNE 2014: Miniature golf promises a fun time for all. Here's a listing of putt-putt courses throughout the New York City area, including indoor and outdoor mini golf in NYC, Long Island, Rockland County, and Westchester County.

NEW YORK CITY
Turtle Cove Golf Center

This course is said to be the most challenging in NYC. Putt your way through the 18 holes scattered among trees, flowers, and water features. The golf center also features batting cages and a driving range.
24 Reed St., Red Hook
Hours: Daily, 11:30am to sundown. On weekends, the kitchen and beer garden are open until 9pm; Food available Friday 4-9pm and weekends 11:30am-9pm (kid-friendly food available).
In addition to the seafood restaurant here, you'll find an 18-hole, outdoor miniature golf course that has holes for every skill level as well as three cornhole courts.
Brooklyn Golf Center
3200 Flatbush Ave.
Hours: 8am-10pm in the summer; 8am to dark in the spring and fall
Price: $8; $5 children younger than 12. Replay rate: $4.
This 18-hole, outdoor miniature golf course, which was added to the golf center in 2010, has lush greens that mimic the center’s par-3 golf course. The center also has a driving range and offers golf lessons for all ages.
FIGMENT Minigolf Course
Hours: June 8–Sept. 29: Weekends during daylight hours
FIGMENT, an organization that supports participatory art, hosts an artist-designed miniature golf course on Governors Island each summer. This year, the theme is "New New York City." Learn more about the course here: http://newyork.figmentproject.org/2014_nyc_minigolf_course.

Pier 25 Mini Golf

This 18-hole course is a fun and challenging way for adults and kids to spend time together with family or friends. Special features include the course’s two waterfalls, a fountain, and mini gardens. There are golf clubs of varying sizes available for players of all ages, along with colorful golf balls.
Randall's Island Golf Center

Scenery and beautiful landscape accompanies this miniature golf course. The two 18-hole courses are designed to be challenging but fun for all skill levels. Lunch and dinner are available at the family-friendly Patio Café.
Flushing Meadows Golf Center

This miniature golf course consists of 18 landscaped holes, with streams and waterfalls. A round of mini golf typically takes 30 minutes to complete and the price includes a putter and ball rental. The course is fully lit for nighttime play.
Rocket Park Mini Golf

Two real NASA rockets loom in the background of this course, which is designed to teach golfers ages 6 and older how the same laws of motion and gravity that guide the path of a spaceship control the motion of golf balls here on Earth.
Staten Island Mini Golf

This 18-hole outdoor course features all the natural obstacles of a full golf course, such as hills, lakes, gullies, and trees. You’ll also find go karts and batting cages here. The Golf House sells snacks and refreshments.
Bethpage Miniature Golf

Boomers Family Fun Center

Children's Museum of the East End

Physics is fun at this miniature golf course. The 9-hole course features signs and scorecards in English and Spanish explaining the properties of physics at play at each hole. The course is also wheelchair accessible.
Eisenhower Park Miniature Golf Course

Located near the Nassau County Aquatic Center, this 18-hole mini golf course features terraced landscaping that incorporates a waterfall, small ponds, flower beds, and a number of challenging holes.
Five Towns Minigolf and Batting Range

This 18-hole course features a waterfall, streams, and the Lily Pond. There's the "cave hole," where you putt from inside a dark cave, and the 18th hole is on top of the 10-foot-tall Tiki fountain.
