Yale Fertility Center Opens in Westport, CT

The Yale Fertility Center delivered a second location, in Westport, on March 1.

The new center brings the academic background and clinical expertise of the Yale University School of Medicine‘s flagship fertility center, in New Haven, a bit closer to home for Fairfield County residents. “Often fertility treatments can require many visits,” says J. Ryan Martin, MD. “We wanted to provide our Fairfield County patients with a closer office, so they wouldn’t have to ruin the whole day with one visit.”

The Westport center, like its New Haven counterpart, is a full-service fertility center for men and women that offers everything from treatment for polycystic ovarian syndrome, to fertility preservation, to donor eggs and surrogacy. The center’s in vitro fertilization (IVF) services, however, are only offered at the New Haven location, so that all patients can benefit from the longstanding success of the center’s IVF Lab.

“We are a down-to-earth fertility center where you are not treated like a number,” Dr. Martin says. “Our goal is to provide individualized, local care so people don’t feel like they’re lost in an assembly line.”

The new center is located at 125 Kings Highway North in Westport, CT. For more information: 203-341-8899 or medicine.yale.edu/obgyn/yfc/
