Now in its 23rd year, the Student Arts Festival celebrates the young artists of our region and salutes their devoted art instructors, school administrators, and families who nurture their creative pursuits. Each year, schools from Bridgehampton to Montauk participate in two inspiring student exhibitions. The museum features more than 3,500 works of student art that covers the gallery walls floor to ceiling salon-style. Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays January 17-February 22.

“From Portraits to Tweets: Imagery, Technology and the U.S. Presidency” Exhibition - Emily Lowe Gallery

From a Gilbert Stuart portrait of George Washington to a Rauschenberg print, to contemporary tweets depicting President Obama, this exhibition, developed by the HUM, traces the public’s shifting perceptions of the American presidency through the use of visual imagery. This exhibition is presented in association with the Hofstra Cultural Center international conference, The George W. Bush Presidency (March 24 - 26, 2015). The exhibition runs through May 8,2015.

Toddler Camp promotes early learning by organizing stimulating and themed activities at outdoor locations for toddlers. This can also provide parents with a much needed break from planning an early learning activity with a snack while offering them the opportunity to meet and connect with parents of kids in the same age range.

Toddler Time - Sky Zone Deer Park

Children ages 5 and under can jump and a parent/guardian may participate for free. For safety reasons at no point may an adult jump on the same trampoline as a child. During toddler time adults may sit/stand on the trampoline pads to accompany their children. This activities takes place Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays year-round.

Behind-the-Scenes Tours - Long Island Aquarium and Exhibition Center

Go behind-the-scenes and see firsthand all that's involved in creating a home for the aquatic residents, including helping to feed the clownfish. Takes place daily, year-round.

Sky Zone Cares - Sky Zone Deer Park
Through December 31, 2017 - Deer Park

Sky Zone Deer Park Indoor Trampoline Park will be opening on the first Monday of each month exclusively for jumpers with special needs. Sky Zone Deer Park team members have been trained and certified by Missing Piece Awareness to be autism aware and accepting and special modifications have been implemented by the management team. On this day for children and adults with special needs, Sky Zone dials down the music, increases the staff ratio, and limits capacity. The Sky Zone team understands the need to provide families affected by autism with a recurring session time where individuals can learn the rules and practice them in a safe and comfortable environment so they can eventually generalize these skills and be fully integrated at any time. Takes place the first Monday of the month through June 2015.
