Mad Sq. Kids: The Rockdoves - Madison Square Park

Madison Square Park Conservancy presents its 11th season of Mad. Sq. Kids, a series of free outdoor performances for children and their families that takes place rain or shine in the park on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 10:30am, June 11 to Aug. 8. The Rockdoves touch on everything from urban living and nature, to the value of friendship, family and home. Drawing inspiration from folk, blues and rock �n roll, they offer an exciting, interactive live performance that delights audiences with its blend of education, comedy, movement and storytelling.

Mad Sq. Kids: Songs for Seeds - Madison Square Park
July 25, 2013 - Gramercy

Madison Square Park Conservancy presents its 11th season of Mad. Sq. Kids, a series of free outdoor performances for children and their families that takes place rain or shine in the park on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 10:30am, June 11 to Aug. 8. Songs for Seeds is a rockin' children's band that encourages kids ages newborn � 5 years to sing, play along with a live guitarist, keyboardist and drummer. Mixing kids rock �n� roll with great adult tunes, the band pleases everyone both big & small.

35th Annual Thunderbird American Indian Mid-Summer Powwow - Queens County Farm Museum

New York City 's oldest and largest pow wow will feature three days of intertribal Native American dance competitions to which the public is invited. Over 40 Indian nations are represented at this spectacular event held in the apple orchard on the farm grounds. A large selection of quality Native American art, crafts, jewelry and foods are available.Performance times are Friday 7-10pm; Saturday 12-5pm and 7-10pm; and Sunday 12-5pm.
