Your child has finally settled on what she wants to be for Halloween this year. Take her to show off her Halloween costume at these kid-friendly Halloween parties in Queens, and she could take home a prize for the most creative costume.

1. Halloween Festival

Crocheron Park, Little Neck
Oct. 26

Enjoy a day of spooky fun including rides, craft projects, a costume contest, free giveaways, and much more. Rain date is Oct. 27.

 

2. Children's Fall Festival

Queens County Farm Museum, Floral Park
Oct. 27

Everyone is invited to wear costumes and enjoy children’s games and bounces, the haunted house, pony rides, and a petting zoo. Professional character look-a-likes will visit to add to the fun. Craft vendors display and sell fall items and food, and country western music and dancing will make this event fun for the entire family.

 

3. Halloween Family Fun

Voelker Orth Museum, Flushing
Oct. 30

Join the Halloween goblins for some merriment. The spooky spirits will be on the grounds with their trick-or-treat pranks. Enjoy crafts, stories and surprises. Come in costume and join the fun.

 

4. Halloween Re-Mixed

Flushing Town Hall, Flushing
Oct. 31

Celebrate Dia de los Muertos, Halloween, and All Saints Day with hands-on festive fun for all ages. Be sure to wear a costume and join the fun. Enjoy ghost stories, making masks, All Saints Day Medallions, Mexican Sugar Skulls, and more.

 

5. Halloween at the Shops at Atlas Park

The Shops at Atlas Park, Glendale
Oct. 31

This event will provide a safe environment for children to trick-or-treat. Activities include two 30 minute shows with Doctor Diabolical at 4pm and 5pm. The show includes magic, music, daring stunts and audience participation.
