LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester Adds $750,000 Interactive Play Area

LEGO Ninjago City Adventure, a 2,300-square-foot interactive play area, opened in April at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester.

The $750,000 interactive experience is the center’s fifth interactive experience added since opening four years ago. LEGO Ninjago City Adventure is modeled after the Temple of Airjitzu (based off of the popular LEGO Ninjago product line). The two-story structure, located inside Ridge Hill Mall in Yonkers, will puts guests’ physical skills to the test as they fight to save Ninjago City. Parents and children ages 3-10 will test their balance, agility, strength, and endurance to become a Spinjitzu Master.

LEGO Ninjago City Adventure has more than 20 interactive elements, including a climbing wall in the dojo training room and an obstacle course inside the temple. Children will also be challenged to navigate a vortex spinning barrel, master the art of Spinjitzu on the spiral slide of lights, harness the power of water on wave decks, crawl through hover rings and lightning buzzer bars, take on a crisscross maze and vertical rope climb, and test their LEGO building skills.

“LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester is committed to playful learning and is designed for children and adults to enjoy the variety of attractions together,” says Chris Mines, general manager.

LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester is an indoor LEGO attraction for families and children ages 3-10. In addition to LEGO Ninjago City, children can also build their own LEGO creations, watch a 4-D cinema show, and enjoy several other fun-filled attractions. There is a café and LEGO store on-site and one can also book birthday parties, school trips, or group visits.
