The vineyard is named after Martha Clara, who is the matriarch of the Entenmann family. Martha Clara is considered one of the most family-friendly vineyards in Long Island. They offer a variety of services including a petting zoo, private tasting rooms, horse and carriage rides, picnic area, and events. Children are always supervised, and pets must be leashed for security.

Jamesport Vineyards allows children to participate in their “grapes and cheese” session, and also allows them to drink juice from unfermented, half ripe grapes.
