Long Island Kids’ Gym and Education Center Offering Swim Lessons

M.A.T.S.S. Kids’ Gym & Early Childcare Education Center in Syosset is now offering swimming lessons and instructions at the new Long Island Swim School.

According to Sylvia Claase, M.A.T.S.S.’s administrative and communications manager, this collaboration with the swim school gives kids the opportunity to experience beginners’ instruction, basic water safety lessons, and fun water play.

M.A.T.S.S. Kids’ Gym & Early Childcare Education Center’s building doesn’t have the capacity to include a swimming pool, but having the new Long Island Swim School across the street allows the perfect opportunity for children to take swimming lessons alongside their enrollment in M.A.T.S.S. The dedicated staff at M.A.T.S.S. will supervise the escort to the swim school (about a two-minute walk) and will happily welcome any participating children who wish to add some fun, educational time in the water into their day.

“This is a fun and enriching class that enhances their day,” Claase says. “It is convenient for families as their children can be brought straight to the swim school right after their regular nursery school or summer program day. Less carpooling and chauffeuring for parents!”

At M.A.T.S.S. Kids’ Gym & Early Childcare Education Center the programs are structured to meet the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of each child. The staff works hard to ensure children will walk out the door feeling better than they did when they walked in. Children will be provided a rainbow of quality and affordable programs that will let them play, learn, and grow under one roof.
