North Brooklyn Pediatric Dentistry, a modern dentist office for kids and young adults, recently opened in Greenpoint. The office is open to infants, children, and young adults and is currently accepting new patients.
The facility is a modern, colorful dentist office designed to make children feel comfortable. The office’s open concept allows parents to watch their kids interact with the dentist and hygienists in the treatment room from the waiting room.
The office focuses on prevention, getting kids started with good dental habits that will stick with them forever. “Preventative dentistry is at the heart of our philosophy,” says Minoo Buchanan, D.M.D., owner of North Brooklyn Pediatric Dentistry. “This, along with early orthodontic intervention, will lay a strong foundation for a lifetime of excellent oral health.”
Each child receives dental treatments with individualized attention, and Dr. Buchanan speaks with each parent after every visit to answer questions and keep parents updated on their child’s oral health.
Dr. Buchanan earned her D.M.D. at the University of Tehran and received her pediatric training from the University of Rochester where she received her master’s degree. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the New York State Dental Association.
North Brooklyn Pediatric Dentistry is currently offering a $95 special for new patients ages 5 and younger.
