Experience Nashville in the Heart of New York City

Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry has been the home to county music for years. But now you don’t have to head south to experience the real thing. Recently it opened up a satellite location right in Time’s Square called Opry City Stage, which will pay homage to the original location with photos, artifacts, and art pieces as well as offering authentic Southern food and live country music.

The 4-floor experience will boast a rotating art exhibit from the Opry’s archives. “The first floor features a retail space, and the next two floors house a 260-seat restaurant, a bar, and stages. The fourth floor is a dedicated music venue, called the Studio at Opry City Stage, with a 250-seat dining room available during private ticketed performances,” said a statement.

There will be live music daily with on-site or streamed live from the Grand Ole Opry. The schedule is as follows:

  • Monday & Tuesday: 11:30am-2:30pm, 6pm-10pm
  • Wednesday & Thursday: 11:30am-2:30pm, 6pm-12am
  • Friday: 11:30am-2:30pm, 5:30pm-12am (Grand Ole Opry stream 8:30pm-9pm)
  • Saturday: 8am-3pm, 5:30pm-12am (Grand Ole Opry stream 8:30pm-9pm)
  • Sunday: 8am-3pm, 6pm-10pm

One of the great things about Opry City Stage is that you can get something to eat all day long. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and quick bites are served throughout the day and menus items includeNashville’s famous hot chicken, meatloaf, mac and cheese, homemade mashed potatoes and gravy, and Key Lime pie.
