Power Brain Training Center Expands Summer Camp Program

Power Brain Training Centers in Bayside, Queens and Syosset have expanded its summer camp curriculum to add more advanced brain training exercises, as well as divided the campers by age. During the camp, children will increase focus and coordination, as well as learn to have empathy and what it means to be a good leader.

to improve focus, confidence, and leadership skills in a fun and challenging environment.

Power Brain Training Center is now taking registrations for its second annual Student Global Leadership Camp, held July 21-26. The weeklong camp, which recently expanded its curriculum to include a wider variety of programs, is held at the Honor’s Haven Resort and Spa in Ellenville.

“The activities are very character driven, teaching children to have empathy and what it means to be a really great leader,” says manager David Beal, adding that through promoting physical, mental, and emotional health, children can achieve a higher sense of leadership and focus.

Campers are separated into three different age groups—8-10, 11-13, and 14-17—and participate in advanced Power Brain activities, like the Brain Screen Study Method, to improve focus and concentration. Through brain coordination exercises children learn how to concentrate for longer periods of time, focus their brain waves, and absorb information at a quicker pace. Participants also enjoy group hikes, martial arts, and other outdoor activities around the spa, in addition to team building activities that boost creativity and memory.
