'Legally Blonde, The Musical' - Irvington Town Hall Theater

Presented by The Clocktower Players Teen Troupe. A funny, romantic comedy about knowing who you are and showing what you've got. When sorority star Elle Woods' boyfriend dumps her for someone "serious," Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books, and sets out to go where no Delta Nu has gone before: Harvard Law. Danceworks Chicago - Westchester Community College - Academic Arts Theatre

Vibrant and innovative, DanceWorks Chicago shares a diverse repertory featuring who's new and what's next in contemporary dance, as well as exciting works from established choreographers. The company creates an environment conducive to nurturing both artist and audience. Under the leadership of Artistic Director Julie Nakagawa and CEO Andreas Bottcher, the duo (who founded Hubbard Street 2) has now created an exceptional ensemble of six dancers who bring integrity, passion, and excellence to performances.

The story is set in the land of Kunka Bunka, which is ruled by a kind and benevolent Queen, who is consumed with worry as she discovers that none of her children have the leadership qualities suited to govern the land. Set to a joyous score featuring jazz, ragtime, gospel and blues, "The Color Purple" is a story of hope, a testament to the healing power of love, and a celebration of life. Adapted for the stage by Marsha Norman, with music and lyrics by Brenda Russell, Allee Willis, and Stephen Bray. Recommended for ages 10 and older. Directed by Jeremy Quinn with musical direction by Stephen Ferri.

This zany and interactive musical delight combines stories about kid-life, songs about kid-experience, dreams about kid-stuff, and jokes - silly and dumb, but always funny! Good dreams, bad dreams, day dreams, and big dreams make this giant marshmallow of a comedy not only fun, but inspiring. Kids participate by telling their favorite jokes, sharing their biggest dreams, and discovering what it takes to make those dreams come true! 'Marshmallow' is a wonderfully entertaining method of inspiring children to face and overcome challenges - both inner and outer ones. This "edutainment" goes beyond teaching self-esteem or character education - it endeavors to give children tools that will enable them to begin to achieve their goals. Ages 5-12.

They will perform all types of dance, including hip-hop, modern, the Irish jig and, of course, ballet. Angelina is the most excited of all, but will she get the starring moment she hopes for? Based on the animated series, "Angelina Ballerina, The Next Steps" on PBS KIDS and the best-selling book, this family-friendly show will have the entire audience dancing. 'In the Heights' - Westchester Broadway Theatre
Through March 17, 2013 - Elmsford

The 2008 Tony Award winning musical weaves a tale about three days in the life of Washington Heights, a vibrant and tight-knit community at the top of the island of Manhattan. It's a place where the coffee from the corner bodega is light and sweet, the windows are always open, and the breeze carries the rhythm of three generations of music. The unique and exhilarating score is a dazzling array of hip-hop, salsa, pop, soul, reggae, cha-cha, and mambo, including, "When You're Home," "It Won't Be Long Now," and "In The Heights." Show runs through March 17, 2013. Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday matinees including lunch; Thursday, Friday Saturday, and Sunday Evenings including dinner.
