Kef theatrical productions has announced the upcoming event KEF KIDS CABARET, an evening of songs featuring some of Broadway, TV and film's biggest little stars, performing numbers of their own choice. The evening of music will be presented on Monday, July 1 at The Cutting Room (44 E. 32nd St. between Fifth and Madison Avenues) at 7pm. Tickets for the one-night-only event are $20 in advance or $25 at the door (food/beverage minimum not included) and are available at thecuttingroomnyc.com or by calling 212-691-1900.
KEF Kids Cabaret will feature Rozi Baker (Shrek The Musical, Mary Poppins, Bonnie and Clyde, Shrek film), Zoe Considine (A Christmas Story), Madi Rae DiPietro (Annie, Days of Our Lives), Emma Howard (Matilda), Zachary Infante (School of Rock film), Darius Kaleb (Motown), Raymond Luke Jr. (Motown), Tyrah Skye Odoms (Annie), Marissa O'Donnell (Shrek The Musical, Peace, Love & Misunderstanding film), Paul Pilcz (Bye Bye Birdie), Daniel Quadrino (Bye Bye Birdie), Rachel Resheff (Mary Poppins, Billy Elliot, Shrek The Musical, TV: Electric Company) Taylor Richardson (Annie), Julianna Rigoglioso (Mary Poppins- National Tour, The Smurfs-Film,), Mavis Simpson-Ernst(Evita, Les Miserables- 25th Anniversary National Tour), Jaidyn Young (Annie), and a dance number by Maddie Ziegler (Dance Moms on Lifetime).
The host/MC's for the evening will be Paul Pilcz (Bye Bye Birdie) and kef favorite Morgan Assante (kef's Three Choices Away concert).

Dinosaur Safari - Bronx Zoo

The new attraction will include a ride through the Cretaceous and Jurassic periods with more than two-dozen animatronic dinosaurs up to 40 feet long which move, snarl, roar, and spit.
In anticipation of the new exhibit, the Bronx Zoo is offering New Yorkers a chance to vote for their favorite dinosaur species at bronxzoo.com/dino and win tickets to see the dinosaurs. Included in the vote: long-necked Brachiosaurus, the intimidating Tyrannosaurus rex, the gator-like Baryonyx, the massive Triceratops, or the flighted Quetzalcoatlus. Exclusive Bronx Zoo Dinosaur Safari stickers that can be used with a safari field guide will be given to those who vote.
Dinosaur Safari will include a ride through a two-acre area of the zoo, and will highlight the physical or behavioral adaptations many share with species that are alive today.
This limited engagement will run from Saturday, May 25 through Sunday, September 8, and will be included in the Total Experience Ticket.

'The Berenstain Bears LIVE!' - Manhattan Movement & Arts Center

As always, Bear Country is not without its complications: Brother Bear's grades are slipping, Sister Bear still has a few things to learn about making new friends, and Papa Bear just can't stop eating junk food. Thankfully, we can always depend on Mama Bear and her loving patience to help set things right. Now in its third smash year, "The Berenstain Bears LIVE!" will give boys and girls of all ages the chance to fall in love with these characters, just as their parents did when they were growing up.
Officially approved by the authors themselves, the Berenstain Bears are now singing and dancing across the stage with performances every weekend in NYC. Be sure to join the bears for free face painting and photos after the show.
