The World Famous Popovich Comedy Pet Theater - Tarrytown Music Hall

A family-oriented blend of the unique comedy and juggling skills of international circus performer, Gregory Popovich, and the talents of his performing pets. Each of the show's 15 cats and 10 dogs were once strays, rescued from animal shelters. Now, they love to show off onstage with a variety of other animals, performing a variety of stunts and skits in this extravaganza of European-style clowns, amazing juggling and balancing acts, and of course, very talented performing pets. Sarah Lawrence College Theatre Outreach Program students, in costume, invite families to journey up the Hudson in a 20-minute performance they wrote for the exhibition The Panoramic River. An interactive adventure against a moving backdrop into early American and British cultures. The play stars a BOY who travels up the Hudson and meets an EXPLORER, Henry Hudson; an ARTIST, William Guy Wall; a Native American CHARACTER, Pukwudgie; and, a hungry SQUIRREL. Jokes, magic tricks, and audience involvement are all part of the fun. Appropriate for ages 6 and older.

Y Theatre Presents Washington Irving Students in "Time Machine 2" - Washington Irving School

This is the SEQUEL to last year's exciting "Time Machine" play! Our heroes - The Time Traveler, Molly, and Brian - find themselves trapped in a maze at the center of time created by the evil Morlocks! While in the maze, they meet Peacemakers, Warriors, Artists, and Athletes from history, like Frida Kahlo, George Washington, Harriet Tubman, Jackie Robinson, and Pablo Picasso! Can our heroes escape the Maze, even with the help of escape artist Harry Houdini? Or will they fall before the forces of the Morlocks, led by the infamous traitor, Benedict Arnold? Will they be trapped in the Maze of the Morlocks FOREVER? Only time will tell! Over 100 Washington Irving School students will perform in this show, sure to delight audiences young and old!

'The Adventures of Tom Sawyer - A New Musical' presented by Random Farms Kids' Theater Jellybeans - Yorktown Stage

Random Farms Jellybeans (performers in grades K-2) present this family musical adapted from Mark Twain's beloved novel, and specially commissioned by The Random Farms Kids' Theater. In the story, Tom meets and falls in love with Becky Thatcher. However, Becky's father, Judge Thatcher, does not approve of Becky fraternizing with a mischievous boy like Tom. Tom prevails when he secretly takes Becky's punishment for her after she spills ink on the schoolmaster's prized book of verses. Then, he returns home from a pirate adventure, unwittingly returning a stolen treasure to its rightful owner. Memorable scenes from the classic book appear in this musical: Tom incurring Aunt Polly's wrath, whitewashing the fence, pirating on Pirate Island, getting engaged to Becky Thatcher, and dedicating himself to adventures with Huck Finn. Tickets are sold at the door on the day of the performance (cash only).
