Stuff We Like: Easter Goodies

If you had asked me when I was little what my favorite holiday was, I would have said ‘Christmas’ in less than a heartbeat. How could a day synonymous with dozens of gifts and surprises not be a kid’s first choice in the holiday category? I still do love Christmas and all that it entails, but looking back now, my memories of Easter are among the most colorful in my childhood. I still vividly remember donning my frilly Easter dresses and bonnets on what always seemed to be the first sunshine-filled day of the year. And while all those Christmas presents somewhat blurred together, Easter gifts were always smaller but just a tad more special, if only because there were less of them.

Easter pjs for kids[

In between the jelly beans and chocolate bunnies in your kids’ Easter baskets, slip in these cute-as-a-button, personalized bunnyland PJ’s from Chasing Firelies (in sizes 6 months to 12 years; $48). They’ll be amazed how that wily Easter Bunny knew their names and love cuddling up in these cotton threads long after the holiday. For the littlest ones in your brood, we love the brand’s somebunny loves me romper, which can also be personalized (in pink or blue; $38). And if those edible Easter basket goodies end up all over that cute bunny decal, no worries — both the pj’s and romper are 100 percent cotton and machine washable.
